I will let you in on a secret. I have been eyeing Berry College and Oberlin Conservatory for quite some time. I have always been attracted to the lifestyle at Berry, (who doesn't want to live in a castle) but now Oberlin may have an equalizer...theme living. You get to apply to live with like minded students; love sustainability or perhaps you're a philosophy/history guy just apply and find yourself immersed in student similar to your interests. I will be entering a campus environment 2-3 years ahead of schedule, meaning I will be 2-3 years younger than everyone else. That is, to say the least, intimidating. This type of lifestyle softens the blow, a lot. Perhaps a visit to Oberlin is in order after all.
