I caught up with The Bourbon Brothers and sat in on their performance at Mac's Chophouse in Marietta this week and had some really great moments. I really appreciate them pulling a rusty emerging artist off the pandemic shelf and dusting me off. I am feeling invigorated and ready to get back in action. I spend a lot of time in the Sinatra, blues, and jazz space and I must say I really appreciate how their sound simultaneously pays homage to the Sinatra space but is distinctly unique. The vocalist has some serious game, he harbors stylistic and sound qualities that are a step beyond many others. The instrumentalists both add an agility and pulse that rounds the group out nicely. Their stage presence also deserves nod; the most relaxing and enjoyable evenings I have had so far. What a genuine pleasure.
